Best Club Article Published in the Media  
 
First Place:  Club Toastmasters de Granby (Estelle Campagna)

This award recognizes articles written by Toastmasters throughout the year. It is awarded to a member who, during the year, does the best job of promoting Toastmasters through the media.

A Toastmaster could write the article about another Toastmaster or about Toastmaster events, etc.

Judging Criteria

Does the article promote understanding of Toastmasters programs, promotions, and/or policies? 5
Is the writing interesting and clear? 20
How much impact the article has created?
(The applicant should submit evidence of what kind of success/response (I.e.: follow-up calls, letters, emails, etc.) resulted from the article.

Other criteria will include the impact of the media used, such as its circulation and its ability to attract new Toastmasters 25

Eligibility

Any article or collection of articles in the external media, in printed or electronic format, that has made the most impact on the Toastmasters program between July 1,st 2007 to April 7,th 2008.

Entry Deadline

To be eligible, entries must be sent to the District 61 Public Relations officer, Lise Blondin, no later than April 7, 2008.

Winner Announcement

Will be announced at the 2008 District 61 Spring Conference.

How to enter the best newsletter award contest?

To enter the Best article published in the media, the member will complete and send the following information:

Name of the member:  
Name of the club:  
Number of the club:  
Telephone number of the member:  
Email of the member:  
Copy of the article published between July 1, 2007 to April 7, 2008.  
Name of the media where the article was published  
Complete address of the media if it is a hard copy or full Internet hyperlink if published on the Web  

Please send your entry to the District 61 Public Relation Officer, Lise Blondin, no later than April 7, 2008.
