LGET Incentives
2007-2008
Education is the cornerstone of the Toastmaster
program. As such I am announcing several incentive programs
aimed at individual achievement as well as club achievement.
Individual Achievement
- A draw for a free set of advanced manuals from amongst
all the members that achieve a CC by December 31, 2007.
Winner: Nancy Galipeau, Seaway Toastmasters (2959)
- A draw for a free set of advanced manuals from amongst
all the members that achieve a CC by March 31, 2008.
Winner: Linda Collette, Dow’s Lake Toastmasters (7618)
- A draw for a seat at the banquet head table of the
Spring conference from amongst all the members that
achieve Advanced Communicator awards (including DTM)
by March 31, 2008.
Winner: Nicole Demers, Des Entrepreneurs (6942)
- A draw for a seat at the head table of the C&L
lunch at the Spring conference from amongst all members
that achieve a leadership award (CL, AL-B, AL-S or HPL)
by March 31, 2008.
Winner: Christine Levesque, Quest (5651)
- A free conference ticket to the Spring conference
for the individual with the most educational achievements
(per the TI online report) as of February 28, 2008.
(Tie decided by draw).
Winner: Horace Crozier
All members of District 61 are eligible for the above
with the exception of the District Governor and the two
Lt-Governors.
Club Achievement
- There will be a draw for a free conference registration
from all clubs that have had four or more officers trained
by August 31, 2007.
Winner: Constellation Toastmasters (737419)
- There will be a draw for a free conference registration
from all clubs that have had four or more officers trained
by March 31, 2008.
Winner: EDC Toastmasters (6432)
- There will be a draw for a $100 certificate to the
District bookstore from all clubs that have all seven
officers trained by August 15, 2007.
Winner: Parliament Hill Toastmasters (5441)
- There will be a draw for a $100 certificate to the
District bookstore from all clubs that have all seven
officers trained by March 15, 2008.
Winner: Los Amigos (1009147)
- There will be a plaque given to the first club that
completes goals one through six (the educational goals)
of the DCP program.
Winner: Ottawa Toastmasters (1935)
- There will be a free conference ticket to the Spring
conference to the club with the most educational achievements
(per the TI online report) as of February 28, 2008.
(Tie decided by draw.)
