District Governor's Incentives 2009-2010

Each year the trio defines initiatives that we hope encourage members to continually grow and flourish as speakers and leaders. When members succeed, so do their clubs.

As District Governor, here are my incentives for the 2009-2010 Toastmasters year.

Passionately Committed Award

This award recognizes long service and will be awarded to a Toastmaster who has been an active member of our organization for twenty (20) years or more.

The award pin will be presented to the member at the June 2010 Toastmasters Leadership Institute.

Passionate Toastmaster Award

This award will be presented to a non-District officer from each division who has demonstrated outstanding service in the current 2009-2010 year as determined by the District 61 Governor.
The award pin will be presented to the member at the June 2010 Toastmasters Leadership Institute.

Distinguished Toastmaster Award

Members who reach the highest pinnacle of the Toastmasters educational program receive the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award. New DTM’s are celebrated at each District Conference. A special award and a Competent Communicator (CC) manual will be awarded to each member who achieves their DTM during the 2009-2010 Toastmaster year.

Passion for Success Award

This award will be presented to a club that achieves a minimum Distinguished Club status and demonstrates the best overall result in educational awards and membership retention.
The club that has the best overall result in these two categories by June 30, 2010 will receive a free conference registration to the 2010 District 61 Fall Conference.
