Speech Contest Resources
Speech contests provide a great opportunity for Toastmasters to stretch their abilities on and off the platform. They enable audience members to observe, learn from, and perhaps be inspired by proficient speakers.
District 61 holds four contests per year. Each spring we hold the International Speech and Evaluation contests and each fall we hold the Humorous Speech and Table Topics contests.
Contests begin at the Club and progress through the Area, Division and District levels. The International Speech Contest continues on to the Region and finally reaches the World Championship of Public Speaking.
